Breakfast is undoubtedly the most important meal of the day. Himes Breakfast House pays homage to the spirit of good friends and good food, and was born from a desire to reinvent the meaning of breakfast. 

Eating out is about more than just great food, and more about the friends we make and the memories we create along the way. Hype was brought onboard to create a brand for Himes Breakfast House that was unique, friendly and memorable, just like them.

Brand Foundation


We began our Brand Foundation process with naming. The name, Himes Breakfast House, is simply a combination of Himes Ave (where the restaurant is located) and Breakfast House (naturally, what they offer). The final result is a name that’s both relatable to the offerings and meaningful to the location.

Next, we crafted a Brand Foundation to explain the Himes Breakfast House mission to pay homage to the spirit of good friends and good food. Quality and family are at the core of this restaurant’s values, and guests can see and taste the difference.

 
 
 

Branding


The Himes Breakfast House brand was developed to appeal to a new, younger audience without polarizing existing customers. 

Through custom patterns, hand-drawn illustrations and icons, beautiful assets, and an attractive color palette of blues, orange and tan, our creative team was able to deliver a unique and marketable brand identity for Himes Breakfast House. We successfully married these bold colors, custom typography and a unique set of graphic assets to bring this new restaurant’s brand to life.
